Korea-only sets
Some sets have only been released in Korea, such as Start of an Adventure from 2010. How the Korean sets relate to the Japanese ones is shown in the set guide, and how to recognise the regional editions is explained in the guide on regional editions.
Korean cards since 2000
The first set in Korean was Base Set, released by Wizards of the Coast in 2000, and until 2010 only two sets were printed in Korean. In South Korea the card game is run by Pokémon Korea, The Pokémon Company's subsidiary founded in 2006.
