The card binder has 12 high-clarity pages and holds 40 cards with one card per pocket or 80 cards with two cards back to back. In the middle there is room for four jumbo Pokémon cards. Ultra Pro states that the material is archival safe, acid-free and PVC-free, and that the card binder is made in California.

Four pockets per page make the card binder small and easy to carry. It works well for a selection from the set, for example the trainer cards with Pokémon. If you collect a whole set, you need nine pockets per page, as in the 9-pocket card binder with Mega Charizard X and Y.

It works well for collectors of Destined Rivals and for younger collectors who want their own card binder. Cards are not included, and the card binder has fixed pages that cannot be replaced.
