One hundred Dragon Shield Classic in Clear, deck protectors for standard-size cards such as Pokémon and Magic. Classic is Dragon Shield's original sleeve with a smooth back without texture, and in Clear it is transparent on both sides.
Dragon Shield describes the blend as firmer than in Matte, and new Classic sleeves can be a little slippery at first. The thickness is 120 microns according to Dragon Shield, the same as Matte. They write themselves that Classic scratches more easily than the textured ranges.
Matte Clear has a textured back, a softer blend and resists scratches better. Ultra Pro's glossy equivalent is PRO-Gloss, which has a glossy front but a textured back. In Clear the card's own back shows, so the sleeve also works well for cards that are to be stored.
They work well for players who want a smooth, firm feel when they shuffle. One hundred is enough for a 60-card deck with spares.
