Pokémon Brilliant Stars – Booster

You get one sealed booster pack from Pokémon TCG: Sword & Shield – Brilliant Stars. The pack comes in four designs – Arceus, Charizard, Shaymin and Whimsicott – and the design you get is random. The main image shows one of them and the extra images show the others.

Brilliant Stars is the set that many people associate above all with Arceus VSTAR, a card that set the tone both in competitive play and among collectors when it came out. Shaymin VSTAR also comes from this set, and the set is regarded as one of the stronger editions of the Sword & Shield era when it comes to which cards collectors still look for.

The set was released in February 2022 and became one of the most popular sets of the era. It introduced the VSTAR mechanic on a wide scale, and it includes the sought-after Charizard VSTAR illustration in the Trainer Gallery part.

The pack contains ten cards from the set, one energy card or a VSTAR marker and one code card for the digital game Pokémon TCG Live. Besides the main series, Brilliant Stars has its own subset, Trainer Gallery, where Pokémon are shown together with trainers in their own art style – this part is a big reason why collectors have kept chasing the set long after release.

The cards in the images are examples of rare cards from the set, and the cards in your pack are random. The set has been out of print for several years, which shows in how few are available in shops. This is the English edition.
