Pokémon Mega Dream ex – Booster (JP)

Mega Dream ex belongs to the Mega Evolution series, where Mega Evolution is back as a mechanic and the expansions are built around the Mega ex cards. The set code M2a shows where the expansion sits in the Japanese release order. For those who collect Pokémon that can Mega Evolve, this expansion is close to the core of the theme.

A sealed Japanese booster pack from Mega Dream ex (M2a), an expansion in the Mega Evolution series. Japan is the Pokémon TCG's home market and the Japanese sets are released first, so Japanese editions are an established collecting niche of their own internationally.

The cards have Japanese text on both cards and packaging. Japanese packs contain fewer cards than the English ones, but in return have a higher share of foil and special cards, and the card quality of the Japanese print is well regarded among collectors.
