Pokémon Violet EX – Booster (JP)

A sealed booster pack from Pokémon Violet ex in the JAPANESE edition: Japanese text on both packaging and cards.

Violet ex is one of the two Japanese base sets that opened the Scarlet & Violet era, together with Scarlet ex. The Japanese series started the era before the Western release got under way, and the two base sets were later split up differently in the English edition.

A Japanese pack contains fewer cards than an English one and has its own rarity structure. Comparing price per card directly between Japanese and English packs is therefore misleading: the formats are simply not built the same way.

It is for the collector who follows the Japanese release or wants the era's Japanese base set. The cards are not tournament legal in formats that require English cards. The pack design is random and cannot be chosen. If the edition is printed in several designs, the pack you receive may differ from the one in the picture. The cards in the pictures are examples of rare cards from the set, and the cards in your pack are random.
