2026 Topps Flagship Football is the company's first NFL flagship since 2015: a fresh-start year with Fernando Mendoza on the cover and a design shared with this year's baseball flagship.

The base set comprises 400 cards, 100 of them rookies from the 2026 draft class: Mendoza, Jeremiyah Love, Ty Simpson, Garrett Nussmeier and Caleb Downs are among the main draws. The 1957 Rookie Variations subset also puts this year's rookies in the design of Topps' second football set ever: the only time in their careers they are pictured that way. The edition came out in August 2026.

The fat pack format is a single, extra-thick loose pack: more cards than a regular pack and the smallest commitment in the programme. Perfect for trying this year's set, adding to a gift or picking up a few when the urge strikes.

It works well for anyone who wants a feel for the comeback year without buying a whole box – and for collectors filling gaps pack by pack.
