Topps NFL Flagship 2026 – Value Box

For the first time since 2015 there is a Topps flagship for the NFL – and the 2026 edition is therefore a fresh start for all of American football collecting. Fernando Mendoza graces the cover, and the design is shared with the 2026 baseball flagship so the year ties together across sports.

The base set comprises 400 cards: 300 veterans and 100 rookies. The rookie class from the 2026 draft is the main attraction, with Mendoza, Jeremiyah Love, Ty Simpson, Garrett Nussmeier, Drew Allar and Caleb Downs among the names. Rookies also appear in the 1957 Rookie Variations subset: a tribute to Topps' second football set, and the only time in their careers the players are pictured in that particular design. The edition came out in August 2026.

The value box is the entry format: several sealed packs at a better per-pack price than loose packs, with base, parallels and inserts. It is the easiest way to start opening the comeback year.

The right box for NFL fans who want to be there from the start as Topps writes the next chapter – and for collectors who know what quarterback rookies have meant historically.
