2026 Topps Chrome Update Series Baseball – Hobby Box First Day Issue

A sealed hobby box with 12 packs. Each pack has 11 cards. Hobby is the channel where the manufacturer's autograph and parallel cards are inserted, unlike the retail formats. The hobby format is distributed only to specialist retailers and has a different card mix from the retail channel.

First Day Issue is Topps' early version of Chrome Update Series Baseball, which was sold in advance through an auction on topps.com ahead of the regular release. Each box has three autographs, including one FDI Molten Mercury autograph numbered to 20 copies, and two FDI Molten Mercury parallels numbered to 13 copies. Update Series adds rookies and players who changed teams during the season to the 2026 Chrome release. The image shows the previous year's Chrome Update Series hobby box, as Topps has not yet shown the First Day Issue box.
