Hoops is the classic entry-level brand of basketball cards, and the 2025/26 edition is published by Topps for the first time. The concept is the same one that made the name so popular: the whole league, a low barrier to entry, lots of cards for the money – but the execution has had a substantial upgrade.

The base set comprises 300 cards and the entire base has a holo finish this year, a clear upgrade on how the brand has looked before. The 2025/26 rookie class, led by Cooper Flagg and Kon Knueppel, is represented, and the insert line is playful in classic Hoops style: Bounce House, Boom Shaka Laka, Dunk-umentory, Next Episode and Finals Pursuit, among others. The edition was released in May 2026.

The value box is the format's cheapest sealed box: several packs at a better price per pack than loose ones, with base, parallels and inserts. Hoops is built for exactly this: opening a lot without counting every pack.

A perfect start for new basketball collectors, and an affordable way for veterans to work through the breadth of the Flagg year.
