Topps Merlin Premier League 2025/26 – Value Box

Merlin is a familiar name to anyone who collected football stickers in the 90s: the brand behind the Premier League's official sticker album. For the 2025/26 season Topps brought the brand back to life as a full card series: Merlin Premier League, with a design that nods to the 1996 collection and modern Chrome technology in the print.

The series is built on 200 base cards covering the league's players and adds throwback variants in the original design and refractor parallels with period names: VHS Refractor and Battle of Britpop are among the most talked about. The value box format is the retail way in: several packs in a sealed box, with parallel and insert content exclusive to the format.

Merlin is aimed at a different collector than the flagship: the one who was there back then and wants the nostalgia on real card stock, or the one who collects series with a clear identity rather than the biggest card pool. As a gift for a football fan with memories of the 90s, it is an obvious choice.
