Upper Deck MVP 2026/27 – Blaster Box

A sealed blaster box from Upper Deck MVP 2026/27 with 11 packs. Ten of them are regular packs with 7 cards in each, and the eleventh is a bonus pack with Gold Script parallels of the base cards. Gold Script is only available in the blaster, and Upper Deck states an average of 3 such cards per box.

MVP is Upper Deck's first NHL edition for the 2026/27 season and was released in August 2026. The base set has 200 cards, and on top of that come 50 cards in the SP's & Rookies subset, which holds the season's rookie cards. The rookies include James Hagens, Porter Martone and Cole Hutson, and the Swedes Anton Frondell and Theo Lindstein. The base cards also come as Silver Script parallels, and the insert cards include Gotta Have Hart, Let it Rip and Paired Up.

The blaster is the retail format between single packs and the hobby box. The regular packs have as many cards as the single MVP packs, 7 each, so the box gives as many cards as ten single packs plus the bonus pack. If you want to try the series before buying a whole box, you can start with a single pack.

The box works well if you want to open the season's first hockey cards without buying a hobby box, and it makes a good gift for someone who follows the NHL. The contents are random, and Upper Deck's figure for Gold Script is an average across the print run, not a number that applies to every single box.
