Magic: The Gathering The Hobbit – Play Booster Display

A sealed Play Booster display from The Hobbit: 30 packs plus a box topper, the whole draft format in one box.

Magic: The Gathering, The Hobbit was released on 14 August 2026 and follows Bilbo from the Shire to the Lonely Mountain. The set's new mechanics carry the story: Recruit lets you draw a card and discard one, and if you discard a nonland you also get a 1/1 soldier. Storied wakes up when you control three permanents that are legendary, sagas or artifacts. Adventure cards are back, Amass now builds goblin hordes and hone counters make equipment sharper with each counter. Bilbo, Luckwearer sets the tone: an unblockable 1/1 that filters your hand on every hit, with the adventure side Burglar's Plot that exchanges control of two permanents.

The display is built for draft. 30 packs of 14 cards are enough for several full draft nights, and Wizards states one rare or mythic rare plus one traditional foil in every pack. The price per pack is also well below that of single packs. The box topper only comes with a full display: one traditional foil card from the Middle-earth Classic Artist series, 40 borderless mythic rares from The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth in a new treatment.
