One Piece OP-13 Carrying On His Will – Booster (JP)

This is the original: a sealed Japanese booster pack from Carrying On His Will (OP-13), the game's third-anniversary set centred on the sworn brothers Monkey D. Luffy, Portgas D. Ace and Sabo. Japan is the home market of the One Piece Card Game, and the Japanese editions are the series' first editions.

The cards have Japanese text on both the front and the packaging: art, card numbers and card pool are the same as in the corresponding editions in other languages. Collectors choose Japanese for several reasons: the sets reach Japan first, the original language holds a special place in the homeland of the manga and anime, and Japanese first editions are an established collecting track of their own internationally.

For play, the cards work under the same rules, but the text requires that you know the card effects: beginners have an easier time playing with the English edition and collecting the Japanese one. As an anniversary set with the brothers theme, OP-13 is one of the more exciting Japanese products to open, with the alt-art chase as the obvious extra.

This is the Japanese edition. The artwork cannot be chosen: if the edition is printed in several pack designs, the pack you receive may differ from the one in the picture.
