Multi-sport cards: Goodwin Champions, World of Sports and Metal Universe

Some series mix athletes from several sports in the same checklist, and some include people from outside sport. With these you collect the series or a person rather than a team or a league.

The series are listed in the order they came out, and under each one is what sets it apart from the others.

Upper Deck World of Sports

First edition 2010

Upper Deck World of Sports first came out in 2010 with a checklist that mixed stars from sports including basketball, baseball, hockey, golf and mixed martial arts. After 2011 the series was on hold until 2025, when it returned as a college series licensed by the Collegiate Licensing Company and The Brandr Group, with athletes from 18 American universities. Volume 2 from 2026 mixes the major college sports – baseball, basketball and American football – with smaller sports such as bowling and gymnastics. The hobby box has on average one signed card, and the blaster box has its own Copper parallels of chase cards such as Saturday Warriors.

The chase cards are Michael Jordan's signed cards in Volume 2 and James Hagens' short prints in Volume 1, his first Upper Deck card, as well as the rare gold Prospective Talent Autographs.

Upper Deck Goodwin Champions

Goodwin Champions mixes sport, animals and history in the same checklist, from athletes to actors, scientists and historical figures. The 2026 edition has a base set of 100 cards with parallels such as Art Frame Variants and Golden Galaxy, which comes in a single copy. The hobby box has 15 packs of five cards and two hits – signed cards, memorabilia cards or inserts from Exquisite Collection – and the blaster has six packs and a bonus pack. The insert sets include Goudey and Young Guns, one in three packs each, World Mythology, Global Gathering, the three-dimensional Splash of Color and surf cards from WSL The Americas Edition.

The chase cards are Golden Galaxy in a single copy, World Mythology, on average one in 120 packs, and the signed cards and inserts from Exquisite Collection.

Skybox Metal Universe SE

Metal Universe SE takes Skybox Metal Universe, designed after the original cards from the 1990s, to many sports in the same series – basketball, golf, MMA, snowboarding, football, tennis and more – as well as people from outside sport such as actors and scientists. The 2026 edition has 200 cards: 100 base cards and 100 in four subsets of 25 cards – Stellar Cartography, Fresh Foundation, Meteorites and Triangulum. The hobby box has 15 packs of six cards, with on average three serial-numbered or secret cards and one E-X insert, and the blaster has five packs. The Precious Metal Gems of the base cards range from Red, with 100 copies, to Gold, with one, and are found only in hobby, while the blaster has its own Aqua and Purple FX parallels.

The chase cards are the Gold Precious Metal Gems, in a single copy, and Universe Rave in Z-Force and Star Diamond in Skybox Premium, both in a single copy.

Topps Official Collectors Kit

Topps Official Collectors Kit is a box for you if you are starting to collect, with packs from Topps' regular series and the holders to store the cards in. The MLB and NFL edition has seven packs: an exclusive pack of eleven cards (one parallel and ten base cards), one pack of 2026 Topps Chrome Baseball, two packs of Topps Update Series Baseball and three packs of Topps Flagship Football. The box also contains 100 penny sleeves, 25 toploaders (35pt), a magnetic card holder and a small card binder with ten pages.
