The One Piece sets: OP, ST, EB and PRB explained
One Piece Card Game has released sets in an unbroken run since 2022. The main sets are numbered OP-01 and up, starter decks are numbered ST, and in between come smaller releases marked EB and special releases marked PRB. The code is printed on the card together with the card number, and the two together identify the card. The parallel versions with alternate art share the number of the base card.

The numbering keeps climbing at a fast pace, and the newest sets rarely make it into an article before the next one is on its way. The list therefore names a selection, not everything there is: the gaps in the numbering are just that. What you can buy is listed in the One Piece category.
The codes
OP is the main sets, the biggest release with the most new cards. ST is starter decks, that is ready-made decks with a leader. EB stands for extra boosters, smaller releases between the main sets: Heroines and Egghead Crisis are two of them. Illustration Box has no code of its own but contains booster packs and promo cards with new illustrations. PRB is premium releases that collect popular cards from earlier sets with new alternate illustrations, and P is promo cards from events and included with products. Beyond these come anniversary releases, such as 3rd Anniversary Set.
All of these series are added to continuously and the numbering keeps moving on, which is why they are listed here as series and not as individual numbers.
The sets
The sets are listed with the code first, and under each is what sets it apart from the others.
ST-02 Worst Generation
Green deck with Eustass"Captain"Kid as leader, one of the first four starter decks released at the same time in one colour each. Bandai describes the deck as built to attack and defend using DON!! cards. Trafalgar Law and Kid are the deck's two Super Rare cards, and other characters include Killer, Jewelry Bonney, Basil Hawkins and X.Drake.
ST-11 Uta
Green deck with Uta as leader, built around ONE PIECE FILM RED and cards of the FILM type. The event cards in the deck, such as New Genesis and Backlight, are based on Uta's songs. Of the deck's 15 card types, five are new and the rest are reprints of cards from Paramount War.
OP-07 500 Years in the Future
The Egghead arc entered the game with 500 Years in the Future, and with cards from the set alone you can build a deck around the yellow leader Vegapunk. The six new leaders, one in each colour, are Monkey.D.Dragon, Jewelry Bonney, Boa Hancock, Foxy, Rob Lucci and Vegapunk. The brothers Sabo and Portgas.D.Ace are the set's Secret Rare cards, Boa Hancock comes as a manga rare, and the English edition has Trafalgar Law as Treasure Rare.
The chase cards are the Secret Rare pair Portgas.D.Ace and Sabo, which together form a shared image across the two cards, plus Boa Hancock as manga rare.
ST-14 3D2Y
Straw Hat Crew deck built around a new black leader, Monkey.D.Luffy, whose ability raises the cost of your own characters. Several cards in the deck only get their effect once you have a character with a high enough cost on the table. The deck also includes characters from the crew's two years of training, such as Haredas and Heracles.
OP-08 Two Legends
Silvers Rayleigh, the Pirate King's right hand, enters the game for the first time in this set and is also the set's manga rare. Whitebeard Pirates, Animal Kingdom Pirates and Big Mom Pirates get new leaders, among them Marco, King and Charlotte Pudding, and many characters come in different colours than before. Kaido & Linlin, two of the four emperors on the same card, is one of the set's Secret Rare cards.
The chase cards are the two Secret Rare cards Silvers Rayleigh and Kaido & Linlin, with Silvers Rayleigh's parallel manga variant one step up in rarity.
PRB-01 One Piece Card The Best
The first premium booster collects popular cards from earlier boosters, many as full art alternate illustrations. The set has a new leader, Sanji, and 30 new DON!! cards, some of them in gold foil.
The chase cards are Sanji's Super Alt-Art leader and Sogeking's Super Parallel version of Usopp.
ST-23 Red Shanks
Red deck around the Red-Haired Pirates with Shanks as leader. The leader card is the same as in Emperors in the New World and lowers the power of one of the opponent's cards when the opponent attacks. The deck also contains a booster pack from A Fist of Divine Speed and was one of six starter decks released on the same day in June 2025, with its own beginner tournament, Beginners Deck Party.
OP-12 Legacy of the Master
Bonds between characters are the set's theme, and the alternate art of the leader cards shows pairs of master and apprentice, such as Rayleigh with Luffy and Zoro with Mihawk. The new leaders are Silvers Rayleigh, Roronoa Zoro, Sanji, Kuzan, Donquixote Rosinante and Koala. Jewelry Bonney is one of the set's Secret Rare cards, and the set also has two special cards for the game's third anniversary.
The chase cards are the two Secret Rare cards Jewelry Bonney and Bartholomew Kuma, father and daughter in the same theme as the set's title.
PRB-02 One Piece Card The Best vol.2
The follow-up to The Best, where every pack contains at least one Super Rare card or better. Returning cards have new alternate art, the event cards come as foil-stamped full art cards, and the DON!! cards also come as Super Alt-Art. Sanji makes his debut here as Super Alt-Art.
The chase card is Sanji's Super Alt-Art, his first card with that treatment.
OP-13 Carrying On His Will
Carrying On His Will celebrates the game's third anniversary with the theme The Flame and puts the brothers Luffy, Ace and Sabo at the centre, all three as leaders with red as their shared colour. The other new leaders are Gol.D.Roger, Imu and Jewelry Bonney. The brothers also come as Red Super Alt-Art with a flame design and as wanted posters in WANTED style, and the event card Divine Departure, with Roger, comes in gold foil.
The chase cards are the manga rare trio Luffy, Ace and Sabo in a red special edition (Red Manga Rare), the brothers shown in fire-coloured print that refers to their Mera Mera powers.
You can find the set's products under OP-13 Carrying On His Will.
OP-14 The Azure Sea's Seven
The Seven Warlords of the Sea is the theme, with seven new leaders: Trafalgar Law, Dracule Mihawk, Jinbe, Boa Hancock, Donquixote Doflamingo, Crocodile and Gecko Moria. Mihawk and Crocodile are the set's Secret Rare cards, and Mihawk also comes as Super Alt-Art. The English edition carries the code OP14-EB04 and also contains 31 cards from the Japanese extra booster Egghead Crisis, the green, blue and purple cards.
The chase cards are the Secret Rare pair Dracule Mihawk and Crocodile, plus Mihawk's Super Alt-Art version.
You can find the set's products under OP-14 The Azure Sea's Seven.
EB-04 Egghead Crisis
Fourth extra booster, built around the Egghead arc, with Jewelry Bonney as new leader and cards that get stronger the less life the player has left. Koby is the set's super parallel. As a standalone product the set exists only in Japanese; in English the cards were split between The Azure Sea's Seven and Adventure on Kami's Island, which therefore carry the codes OP14-EB04 and OP15-EB04.
The chase card is Koby's manga rare (super parallel), the set's only card with that treatment.
EB-03 One Piece Heroines Edition
The first extra booster devoted entirely to the series' heroines. Nefeltari Vivi is a new leader and gives characters [Rush], and the set has nine SP cards featuring Nami, Nico Robin, Boa Hancock and Uta among others. Four DON!! cards have the same illustrations as the packaging.
The chase cards are the set's nine SP cards with the series' heroines, among them Nami, Boa Hancock and Nico Robin.
OP-15 Adventure on Kami's Island
The Skypiea arc is the basis for the set, and the leaders include Enel, Krieg, Lucy, Brook and Rebecca. The English edition carries the code OP15-EB04 and contains the rest of the Japanese extra booster Egghead Crisis, the red, black and yellow cards, with Jewelry Bonney as leader.
The chase cards are Enel as manga rare, the villain of the Skypiea arc, and for the English edition also Koby as manga rare from the EB-04 part.
OP-16 The Time of Battle
Paramount War is back as the theme, and the Luffy leader builds a fast deck around prisoners breaking out of Impel Down. The other leaders are Portgas.D.Ace, Buggy, Sengoku, Yamato and Marshall.D.Teach. Ace and Teach are the set's Secret Rare cards, and the set's Super Alt-Art shows the three admirals.
The chase cards are the three admirals' manga rare cards, Kuzan, Sakazuki and Borsalino, which laid side by side form an image of the battle of Marineford, plus the Secret Rare pair Portgas.D.Ace and Marshall.D.Teach.
OP-17 The World's Strongest Warriors
Three themes share the set: the Straw Hat crew's arrival at Elbaph, Rocks.D.Xebec and his crew, and the four emperors. Luffy comes as Super Leader Alt-Art, a leader card with art from the original manga, and Baki creator Keisuke Itagaki has drawn a new illustration of Kaido. For the game's fourth anniversary the set has SP cards under the heading Color of the Supreme King Haki.
The chase cards are the Secret Rare pair Rocks.D.Xebec, his first card ever, and Loki, plus the new top rarity Pirate Crew Super Alternate Art with Luffy's and Rocks' crews in manga black and white with gold foil.
SD-01 Set Sail Deck Set
Beginner box for two players that teaches the game with Luffy and Ace. The box contains two ready-made decks with one leader each, a shared playmat, two guidebooks and a booster pack from The World's Strongest Warriors.
EB-05 One Piece Heroines Edition vol.2
The second extra booster with the series' heroines, a follow-up to Heroines Edition. Nico Robin becomes a new leader in green and yellow, Shirahoshi is the set's manga rare, and Nami and Robin come as SP cards. The English packs have twelve cards against six in the Japanese ones.
The chase cards are Shirahoshi's manga rare, the set's only card with that treatment, plus the SP cards with Nami and Nico Robin.
OP-18 The Dominance of God
Water Seven and God's Knights are the themes of the second set for the game's fourth anniversary. Franky gets his first leader card, built around Stage cards, and Gunko also becomes a leader. Final Fantasy illustrator Yoshitaka Amano has drawn the Secret Rare cards with Loki and Saint Shamrock, and Nico Robin gets her first manga rare.
The chase cards are the Secret Rare cards Loki and Saint Shamrock, painted by Yoshitaka Amano, plus Nico Robin's first manga rare.
Starter Deck ST-37
ST-37 is released together with ST-38 as a pair of decks with the same theme and a new leader each. Of the two, ST-37 is the simpler one, with mechanics that are easy to learn, and the deck contains a bonus pack with three cards.
Starter Deck ST-38
ST-38 is the second deck in the pair with ST-37 and shares its theme, but has its own new leader. It is made for players who want to control the tempo of the match and is described as the more strategic of the two.
Extra Booster EB-06
Extra booster with English release in January 2027. The set gives new cards to older leaders and an entirely new leader with a new strategy, and the special cards have a new, nostalgic design. One character card comes as Super Alt-Art.
Starter Deck ST-39–ST-44
Six beginner decks in one colour each, released on the same day in April 2027. The leaders are taken from the main sets from Carrying On His Will to The World's Strongest Warriors and have simple effects. Each deck has five entirely new cards and a pack from OP-19 with reprints of popular cards from earlier sets.
How to read the card
| Set code | At the bottom, for example OP-05 |
|---|---|
| Card number | Follows the code, as in OP05-119 |
| Rarity | C, UC, R, SR, SEC, TR or L for leader |
| Colour | The card's frame: red, green, blue, purple, black or yellow |
| Cost | Top left, number of DON required |
| Counter | On the card's edge, how much the card gives in defence |
| Power | The card's strength in battle |
Beyond the letter scale there are two versions that are not rarity grades but treatments: alternate art is the same card with a different illustration and often the most sought-after of all, and manga rare has manga-style art in a very limited print run.
What makes a set sought after
- Alternate illustrations. The same card with different art, regularly the most expensive in the series.
- Manga rare. A very small print run meets high demand.
- Leader cards for popular characters. Demand follows the characters' popularity in the manga, not their strength in the game.
- Tournament strength. Drives the price both ways: a card that dominates rises quickly and falls just as quickly when it is restricted.
- Early sets. Demand for OP-01 and OP-02 was so much higher than the English first print that it sold out quickly after the 2022 launch, and Bandai has expanded the print with every year since.
Collecting a set
A main set normally contains around a hundred and twenty cards in the base numbering, plus parallel versions. A display of twenty-four packs gives you far from a complete set, since the rarities are spread across the whole print. Most collectors therefore buy single cards to fill the gaps instead of opening more packs, and that is almost always cheaper. Starter decks are the cheapest source of certain key cards, since they are guaranteed to contain them.
Japanese and English editions exist side by side and the Japanese ones are normally released first. Sleeves, on the other hand, are nothing to worry about: Japanese and English One Piece cards are the same standard size.
How the sets relate to the game
Each main set adds new leaders, which in practice opens up new deck types, and new characters that strengthen existing themes tied to a crew. The tournament meta shifts with every major release, and the ban list is adjusted when something has become too strong. Which sets are tournament legal can differ between formats and organisers, so read the rules document that applies to that particular tournament before you build your deck.
What to buy depending on what you want
If you want to learn to play, a starter deck is right. If you want to build a tournament deck, it is a starter deck plus single cards from the main set. If you want to collect a set, the display gives the most cards for the money. If you are chasing an alternate art card, buy the card on its own, since the odds in packs are very low. And if you collect the art, the illustration releases are what you are after.
The mistakes are just as predictable. Comparing an alternate art card with the base version of the same card gives a price picture that does not exist. Building a deck without reading the current ban list costs you the tournament. Opening a display for one particular card almost always costs more than the card. And mixing Japanese and English cards in the same deck is not allowed at tournaments.
