2026 MLB Topps Chrome (Hobby Box)

Topps Chrome has been released since 1996 and each year builds on the same design as that year's Topps Series 1, but in a chromium finish. The checklist mixes established players with the season's rookie class, and many collectors look to Chrome specifically for a player's rookie card in chrome format. Later in the season Topps Chrome Update usually arrives. It adds players who debuted or changed clubs after this release was put together.

Topps Chrome is the chromium edition of Topps' annual baseball series, where the base design is printed on chromium instead of regular card stock. The series is associated above all with refractors – parallel cards in different colours and patterns – and with rookie cards of players who have debuted in MLB. The 2026 edition follows the same format and is one of the releases collectors usually follow every season.

A sealed hobby box. It is the channel where the manufacturer's autograph and parallel cards are included, unlike the retail formats. The hobby format is distributed only to specialist retailers and has a different card mix than retail.
