The flagship that opens the anniversary year: 350 cards with 30 rookies and 10 Future Stars. Value Box: the cheapest sealed way into Series 1 2026.

2026 marks 75 years since Topps released its first baseball set, and Series 1 is the product that opens the anniversary year. This is the flagship in its purest form: the set that defines how the season's cards look and which rookies get their first real flagship cards.
The checklist covers 350 cards: 275 veterans, 30 rookies and 10 Future Stars, complemented by team cards, League Leaders and combo cards. The rookie cards here are the players' first in Topps' main series: they are the cards the secondary market starts from when careers take off. The edition was released in February 2026.
The Value format is the cheapest sealed way into Series 1: several packs in one box at a lower price per pack than loose packs, with base set, parallels and inserts as contents. If you want to build the base set or get a feel for this year's design before moving to larger formats, this is the right level.
Makes a good choice for set builders, new baseball collectors and anyone who wants the anniversary year in their collection without the hobby box price tag.
