Topps Chrome F1 2020 – Hobby Box

Discontinued year, aftermarket copy.

This is the first year of Topps Chrome Formula 1, the edition that started the whole series. It covers the 2020 season, was first sold directly from Topps in December 2020 and reached distributors on 23 April 2021. The box contains 18 packs with four cards in each, 72 cards in total.

The base set consists of 200 cards featuring F1 and F2 drivers, team principals, mechanics and cars. The set includes the subsets Formula 1 Freshest, Future Stars and Grand Prix Winners. The insert sets are 1954 World on Wheels with 35 cards, roughly one per three packs, and Track Tags with 15 cards, roughly one per six packs. Topps lists ten parallels or short prints and nine inserts per box.

On average, there is an autograph in every other box. A single box may therefore have no autograph. The refractor parallels are numbered: Purple to 399 copies, Gold and Gold Wave to 50, Orange and Orange Wave to 25, Red and Red Wave to 5 and SuperFractor as a single copy.

The year is discontinued at Topps and is sold as aftermarket copies. The box is sealed, and what is inside this particular box is determined by Topps' packing and not by us.
