Topps Chrome F1 2021 Sapphire Edition – Hobby Box

Discontinued year, aftermarket copy.

Sapphire Edition is Topps' own premium version of Chrome Formula 1 2021, printed on a blue sapphire pattern instead of the regular chrome finish. It was released on 6 May 2022 and was sold only directly from Topps in the USA.

The box contains 8 packs with four cards in each, 32 cards in total. The base set is the same 175 cards as in the regular 2021 edition, but here in sapphire finish. Topps lists four parallels or short prints per box.

The edition has no autographs. The value lies in the parallels, which are all numbered: Chartreuse to 199 copies, Negative to 100, Aqua to 99, Green to 75, Gold to 50, Orange to 25, Black & White to 15, Purple to 10, Red to 5 and Padparadscha as a single copy.

Topps no longer produces the 2021 set, so it is sold as aftermarket copies. The box is sealed, and what is inside this particular box is determined by Topps' packing and not by us.
