Topps Chrome F1 2026 – Hobby Box First Day Issue

First Day Issue is the early edition of Topps Chrome Formula 1 2026 and is released six days before the hobby box. The box has the same structure as the hobby format, 20 packs with four cards in each, but the contents are different. The image is Topps' preview image of the series; the packaging has not been shown yet.

According to Topps' breakdown, each First Day Issue box contains one FDI Molten Mercury autograph, two FDI Molten Mercury parallels numbered to 15 copies, and three additional numbered parallels. The Molten Mercury cards exist only in this format and cannot be pulled from a regular hobby box.

The base set is the series' 200 cards with drivers from Formula 1, Formula 2 and Formula 3, the cars, Grand Prix winners, Driver of the Day, FIA award winners, F1 legends, team pairs, team logos and team principals. The insert sets are the same as in the hobby format: Speed Wheels, Austin to Mexico City, Helmet Collection, Dancing in the Rain, Women of the Paddock, Futuro, Genesis, The Grid, Helix, Abu Dhabi At Night and Chrome Anime.

Topps sells First Day Issue through an auction that opens high and drops until stock runs out, instead of at a list price. Our price is therefore set based on how previous First Day Issue auctions have ended and will be adjusted once the outcome on 9 October is known.
