Topps Chrome F1 2021 – Hobby Box

The box contains 18 packs with four cards in each, making 72 cards. The base set in Topps Chrome Formula 1 2021 consists of 175 cards. The edition was released on 9 March 2022, after the season it covers had been decided.

The autographs in this year's edition are only found in the hobby format. On average they turn up in every second box, which means a single box may just as well not have one. The insert sets are Path to the Podium and Redliners, both roughly one card per six packs, plus Topps 1961 Sports Cars, which turns up more often, at roughly one per three packs.

Chrome means the cards are printed on glossy foil board and the base cards return as coloured refractor parallels. In the 2021 edition they are numbered: Purple to 399 copies, Gold to 50, Orange to 25, Red to 5 and the SuperFractor as a single copy.

The box is sealed. Hobby lite, which was sold alongside it, has 16 packs instead of 18 and lacks the autographs, so the difference between the formats lies in both quantity and contents. What is in this particular box is determined by Topps' packing and not by us.
