Beckett Shield Toploader 35pt – 25-pack

Twenty-five toploaders from Beckett Shield, the accessory line bearing Beckett's name, made by Arcane Tinmen, the Danish company behind Dragon Shield. The format is the usual 3 × 4 inches, for standard-size cards up to 35pt.

A toploader is a rigid, clear plastic holder that keeps the card flat and protects corners and edges from knocks and bending. The card is put in a penny sleeve first and then slid down into the toploader, and if it is to be shipped or stored for a long time, the toploader can be placed in a team bag.

Beckett Shield does the same job as Ultra Pro's toploaders in the same format. Ultra Pro has three levels: Regular in super-clear PVC, Premium in thicker 15 gauge PVC and Platinum with a moulded frame without glue. If the card is going for grading, no toploader is used at all, but a card saver.

Works well for everyday use: cards you sort out of packs, trades and sales. Cards thicker than 35pt need a thicker toploader.
