Golf cards: Upper Deck's series and Young Guns

Golf cards are trading cards featuring golfers, and the series here come from Upper Deck. The cards feature players from PGA TOUR, LPGA and PGA TOUR Champions, and the new players' cards are called Young Guns – the same label Upper Deck uses for rookie cards in hockey.

Young Guns and the rookie cards

In Upper Deck Golf, Young Guns are cards 101 to 130 in the base set, and in the 2026 edition they turn up on average once every two packs. Retrospective Young Guns, cards 131 to 140, give players who never had a Young Guns card one after the fact, on average one in 20 packs. The label is the same as for Young Guns in hockey.

The other series have their own rookie cards. In Upper Deck Artifacts Golf the rookie cards are numbered to 999 copies, Upper Deck Allure Golf has one rookie card in every pack, and in Fleer Ultra Golf nearly half of the base set consists of rookie cards.

Upper Deck Artifacts Golf

First edition 2021

Artifacts is Upper Deck's series of memorabilia cards and signed cards, and it made its golf debut in 2021. The 2026 edition was the first since then. The base set has 50 cards, plus 30 rookie cards serial-numbered to 999 copies and ten Stars & Legends numbered to 199. A hobby box has eight packs of four cards and on average three hits: signed cards, memorabilia cards or technical inserts. The insert set is called Aurum, and the hits include Aurum Signatures, signed Ball Marker Relics, Big Drive Fragments and Treasured Swatches.

The chase cards are the Black parallels numbered to 25 copies, Aurum Signatures numbered to 75 copies at most and the signed Ball Marker Relics.

Upper Deck Allure Golf

First edition 2026

Allure is Upper Deck's chrome series with colourful parallels, and the 2026 edition was the series' first edition of its own in golf. The base set has 60 cards: 40 veterans and legends, four per pack, and 20 rookie cards, one per pack. The hobby box has eight packs of eight cards and the blaster four packs of five. The parallels have golf names such as Red Tees, Orange Slice and Range Ball and go down to Golden Treasures in a single copy, and the insert sets include 16-Bit, Sunday Money and Taking Aim. Signed Red Tees cards turn up on average once in 24 packs for the veterans and once in 32 packs for the rookie cards.

The chase cards are Golden Treasures in a single copy, Purple Diamond in ten copies and the serial-numbered signed Red Tees cards.

Upper Deck Golf

Upper Deck Golf is Upper Deck's main golf series, with players from PGA TOUR, LPGA and PGA TOUR Champions. The 2026 edition has a base set of 100 cards in three parts – Vets & Legends, Season Highlights and Debut Dates – plus 30 Young Guns, on average one in two packs, and ten Retrospective Young Guns for players who never had a Young Guns card. The hobby box has twelve packs of twelve cards, the tin eight packs and the blaster four. The edition marked 25 years since 2001 Upper Deck Golf with buybacks of the original cards, hand-numbered to 25 copies, and with the 2027 edition the series is released two years in a row for the first time since the early 2000s.

The chase cards are Young Guns in Gold Outburst, in a single copy, the buyback of Tiger Woods' signed card from the 2001 edition and Scorecard Superstars Signatures, on average one in 340 packs.

Fleer Ultra Golf

Fleer Ultra Golf brings Upper Deck's Fleer Ultra to golf, and the 2026 edition was the first in a regular hobby box, after an edition that was only available digitally in Upper Deck's ePack. The base set has 65 cards – 35 veterans and 30 rookie cards – and the hobby box has 15 packs of eight cards. The Silver Foil parallel turns up on average 15 times per box, and the serial-numbered parallels range from Blue Foil in 399 copies down to Gold Spectrum in a single copy. Medallions turn up on average once in four packs, with their own versions down to Black in a single copy, and every second box has a signed card.

The chase cards are Gold Spectrum and the printing plates, each in a single copy, Medallions in Black in a single copy and the signed Rainbow Foil cards.
